Women's Colours

We have adopted these colours which originated in the English Suffragette Movement and were chosen for their symbolism:-

     Purple - justice and dignity

     Green - hope

     White - purity

We like to wear a mauve shirt whenever we have an outing or attend a function. Sometimes there are large numbers on these occasions and this assists us in identifying each other. This is not compulsory or expected of members and is purely voluntary. Any shade of mauve (or even purple) in any style of shirt you may already have in your wardrobe would be perfectly acceptable.
